Polish 1st Armored division soldiers with Denim clothing

Hello everybody,

I am looking for original photos of soldiers from the 1st Polish Armored Division using Denim clothing. Not the overall, but the 2-piece set, jacket and pants. I've gone through my books several times but I can't really tell if it's the 2 piece set, or if it's denim they're wearing.

If this question has come up on the forum before, then I apologize for it.

Thank you very much Andrzej for help and photographs!

However I look for the 'summer' variant of the battledress, originally made as work clothing and to be wear above the regular battledress, it was also used during the warm period in battle, as I read somewhere.

But I do not know if Polish soldiers used this too in for example august 1944 during their advance in Normandy, it seems very plausible for me but hope to find photographic evidence .

At this moment I do not have the possibility to upload an example of this type of denim 'material' clothing because my computer has lack to upload them .
When you type "British denim battle dress" in the search bar from internet you will find examples of it .

Hello,
The Denim's uniforms were used in the 1rst Polish Armored Division during summer 1944 :
- the denim two pieces, specially in the 10th Dragoons (the men of the 3rd Infantry Brigade worn rather the usual battledress made of serge).
- the denim tank suit in the armored regiment (I am looking for such a tank suit for years).
No rank on these denim dress, except from second lieutenant.

Would you know if beside no ranks, their was also no Poland titles or 1PAD emblems present on Denim uniforms?

Hdllo Pieter,
The only signs authorised was the rank from second lieutenant (one star).
No divisionnal or regimental insignia, no titles POLAND, no black left shoulder, no Polish buttons...
I don't manage to post pictures... I send them on your mail and if you can post them ?
