If you come in Normandy, you wll see the Polish troops have not been forgotten.
Two museums to visit :
- The MEMORIAL OF MONTORMEL, in Orne, where you can take advantage of a guided visit. Some named Polish items are in showcases. You will see also some small remains of the battlefield. Alla round, many places to see : Chambois, Montormel, Maczuga.

- Another place to visit is the OVERLORD MUSEUM, in Calvados, just near the American cemetery, at Colleville-sur-Mer. You will see there a big display about the "Falaise Gap" with many mannequins and two big showcases aboat the 1rst Polish Armored Division.
You can also discover the German tail (fuselage) of the Aircraft shot down by Polish pilot W. Potocki.
And when you go out the museum, there is a spcial wall with many pictures of veterans, and one is with Polish (mentionning Mister Wartalski) :

Of course, you will have to visit also the Polish monuments at Arromanches, Graye-sur-Mer, and all in the villages on the Polish road in Normandy. Of course, the Polish cemetery of Langannerie.
