Polish Paratropers GAPA Badge

Hello Fellows,

Recently saw this WW2 Polish Paratrooper badge with combat wreath. Can our experts in internet land on Polish Paratroopers badges give an opinion on its originality? Final hammer price was £4000.

Dear Fellows since my last post I have managed to do some further investigations at the POSK Polish library in King Street Hammersmith.

I have found out that the badge as sold was mis-labeled in that the vendor said the badge was attributed to Todeusz Miszezuk 3rd Bn, 1st Polish Parachute Brigade (see screen grab below) but in fact having done some research , the badge actually belongs to Zygmunt Miszuk, 3rd battalion, Polish Para, sent out on aircraft 78 on the 23/09/1944. Badge number 4721/1304 (see attached extract from PISM's Materialy Zeszyt 3.
