1938 Polizei Belt & Buckle - Real?
Hello All!
I am looking to begin collecting German Polizei equipment, medals, etc. I found this nice pre-war belt and buckle and would like to know if it is real or fake? I looked over a few of the forum posts, but cannot tell for sure if it is authentic, so any help would be appreciated.

Hello Spartan you can go under the police buckle section on the side bar under Brocades and buckles 1900 =1945 there is a fake thread there .
Click on the Police buckle sub forum and check out the Sticky thread on fake Police buckles. The steel fakes are easy to tell but some of the cast aluminum are decent looking.
Police items is one of my favorite Third Reich areas.
