I've found this belt which is advertised as a WW2 Gendarmerie officers belt.
The belt is 44mm wide and there are no markings/stamps on the buckle.
I'd appreciate your help with this one.

From Angolias book (page 172), I read that belts with the double claw style buckle were 50mm or 55mm wide whereas it was enlisted men that had the belt width 44/45mm.
So this might be an EM/NCO belt.
But then, on page 205 where it describes the open double claw buckles which were introduced in 1937 where the buckle was 50/55mm high, and worn by Inspectors, Officer candidates and officers. This would hint at the belt being 45mm or thereabouts.
