A good and sound representation of a Police buckle and more than likely it started life with a “leather tongue”. RS&S as Richard Sieper & Söhne from Lüdenscheid is as you know a commonly encountered manufacturer of this genre of buckles and it is good to encounter a “double” makers mark here. The Sieper diamond logo can be seen on the reverse, positioned at approximately two o’ clock.
