Dating French post-WW2 TAP jump wings

Hi all,

anyone know what the correct ranges of the engraved numbers on the back of the French TAP jump wings are for both the Indochina- and Algeria periods?

I am aware of the table on the cast Drago markings, see below:

I have a number of books about French forces in Indochina and Algeria, but not that one

Happy I could help. H & C republished that book & is companion book Paras français en Indochine. It's a very good thing for the people who missed both original edition. After that the price for those was crasy. I was able to get the Indochina original one at a decent price.

Afterwards I wrote H&C, informing them that reprinting those two books would be great. They answered back that there was no immediate planning for that. A few years later by luck I found the new edition of the French paras in Algeria, so they did reprint them, both. I guess I wasn't the only one who wrote them. H&C books are quality books in French loaded with great photographs & information. A few titles were translated in English.

Yes those are on my list, I do have both of the Guyader books but they focus on the Foreign Legion, with a section on TAP.
