Good, wore buckle.
I like this condition.
Allan, nice original buckle
Ben
Thanks guys. I like the worn look as well been there done that.
Dear Allan,
The buckle that you have shown, whilst and with all due respect is in a slightly "tired" condition, is still nevertheless a sound representation of the type.
Without wishing to be overly pedantic, the buckle is not Bahnschutz and instead, Deutsche Reichsbahn.
Deutsche Reichsbahn was of course a civil rather than a military organisation and as such, did not embrace an "officer cadre". This buckle was accordingly worn by Deutsche Reichsbahn "officials" who had achieved and fell within a certain pay grade.

David
Nice to see you back David, we have been worried about you with the Covid 19 virus around
Ben
Thankyou for your kind words Ben and thankfully, still “alive and kicking” in this strange time that we are all unfortunately living in.
Regards and best wishes,
David
Thanks David. As always very knowledgeable and a pleasure to learn from. Much appreciated.

Dear Rossi,
Perhaps I am wrong, however and from memory, you hold an undoubtedly rare variation by construction of the buckle, which launched this thread by Allan ?
If so, perhaps a re post ? If not the case and instead a “senior moment” on my part, then please accept my apologies.
Regards and best wishes,
David
