An interesting relic. Looking at this from my cell so can't see the fine details
I what I can see 9n this small screen the exterior looks good. But not sure why there is what looks like the same paint on half of the inside of the helmet.
As whether this is winder camo, I can not be sure. Possible it is a tan paint. I'm assuming it was cleaned with oxalic acid which often changes the paint color a bit

Could be from the soil, i have noticed that especially in clay, items from steel- like helmets can be covered with thin layer of chalk like substance.
