Thanks! No I did not find it, a friend in the East did.
I don't think I see any pitting under the decal. If there was I would be concerned. Not so much rust under the decal, but pre-existing pitting that the decal covers. These are always tricky.

I don't think so either. A very real piece of history I think this is. It keeps amazing me the way decals, in different conditions of course, can survive under ground/in water, mud etc.
That is quite a find!!!
