M40 relic pick-up...my relic collection is complete!

Hi All,

I'm not really a helmet collector ( yet

), but I always wanted to collect together all 3 type WW2 German helmets (M35, M40, M42)

I already had a nice M35 and M42 relics - but no M40 yet.
So just tonight, I saw this M40 for 50 EU and did get it! 'Hope you guys like it! Seems it has some white camo left - and overall in nice condition - no holes or cracks...

sometimes relics are sold on the fact they have whitewash applied im not disputing the finish but it can also be caused by the corrosion process due to years of ground burial

Hi Guys - just got this relic M40 (I'll ask the seller if he knows where it was dug up - but probably from here around Budapest)
I guess, one has to collect at least one "fatally wounded" helmet for his/her collection (looks like it has a couple of shrapnel impacts?) ...'Thou I might be bringing a "ghost" in my flat.
( Now I own 4 relic helmets...MUST...STOP...GETTING...HELMETS

)
