Looks like either an M35 or M40, can't really be more precise from the poor photos.

Nice relic shell its an M40 pattern helmet you can get bands and liners for it and bring it back for a good display piece, nice find .

I can't tell if the decal is original or not. As far as the model goes...it's either an M35 or 40. You can tell if the vent holes have a pressed in grommet..it's a model 35. If the vent holes are just punched in...it's a model 40

Appears to be an M40. A Nat. color decal is rarely seen on an M40. IMO the decal does not belong there....but that's a whole different discussion.

can you take a clear photo of the INSIDE of the vent hole?
Also...you have it in hand. What do You see? Looking inside is the best. Is it a separate pressed in rivet or a machine stamped integral to the helmet.
