gday, i have posted this salty relic before but have since been messing with my camera. trying to work out the name under the edge. looks like LINGG to me what do you think?

Apparently it's an Austrian surname: Lingg Family Crest and History

I like this lid, like you said nice and salty. The name Lingg is not a very common name in Germany, but there are still alot of Lingg's floating around, mainly in the South.
