Hi Frank, welcome to the forum!
Either make of tyre would be fine.

Hi Ade, and thanks for the welcome.
This makes it easier to find tires, when the market does not flooded with tires that fit this trailer.
Also struggling to find out how these trailer looked like inside.
Has several brackets and straps inside, but do not know what these are used for?
They also had wood- floor, but can not find good enough pictures to see exactly how this is structured?
My trailer has what I can decipher from a very rusty Data Tag No.: X 5842852.
Are there any ways to find the history of the trailer out from this?
Best Regards
Frank
Hi Frank, I now know the secret of brackets. But this is due to a friend doing a reprint of the 1949 manual. Once these are all done, I will offer them for sale on the forum. So I won't give away the info to help him make a few sales. The wood floor was actually made up at unit level. Again the manual tells more.
The X number is massive bonus! Few trailers have their original WD census number. Sadly the Army destroyed the service records many years ago. The best you can do is look at every original photo which you can, a very long shot I know!
Cheers, Ade.
Hello.
Want then to be on the list of buyers for this release when it is ready, if possible!
Is it possible to be notified when this is ready for release?
And or how it will be published here on the forum
Regards
Frank
Hi Frank, I will let everyone know as soon as it is published Thanks for the interest.
Cheers, Ade.
Sorry still waiting to hear from my friend in Thailand.

best regards,
Paul
can anyone provide details of the two legs and retaining pins or possibly offer reproductions?
does anyone know of a spare axle flood lamp?
best
paul
Hi Paul, thanks for that! Rob is mate of mine and I did not know he did these!
What pattern of leg do you need?
The flood lamp I might be able to help with but not until next summer when the show season is underway.
Cheers, Ade.
