G'day Dan, my apolagies for my late reply and nice of you to drop by Not much doing on the restos just finally ordered a repro liner for ny Camo M40 that i did ages ago so i'll post up some pics when that happens, just been busy with other pursuits and work and life in general, i find it Good to have a break and refresh otherwise it gets a little mundane for everyone, but i'm never far away and have my eye on a couple of lids at the moment but moneys a bit tight, all the best and Cheers.

My M42 ET68 Shell ... Restauration !
1 Step - buy / find the shell
2 Step - clean in warm water and detergent
3 Step - cleaning the shell in water with lemon-salt for 24 hours
4 Step - remove dimples / imperfections and bumps with fine pastes/putty
5 Step - finish the final form ... with fine sandpaper (most difficult operation)
6 Step - applying primer
7 Step - find the correct paint
8 Step - applying paint & decal
9 Step - apply a water-based protective lacquer (optional)
