Mauser rear sight pin.
Hello, I recently bought the rear sight for a mauser kar98k reastoration project I'm doing. There's a pin in the front of the sight that I want to remove to attach it to the rest of the rear sight assembly and I want to know if it's possible to remove because it looks like it's been cut off. And I also have another question, what is the origin of this ironsight because none of the german, yugoslavian and polish mausers I looked at had this type of build or font on the numbers (maybe its some commerical mauser). The pictures are from the seller, I can provide better ones if nessesary. Thanks in advance for any info.
