Litwa, you could always try leaving the DJH pin in a glass of the solution that I recommended for about 15 minutes and then wash it off in clean water. That might help

Tried soaking 2 diffrent pins in the solution, had no effect on the DJH pin, but i soaked a Deutsche Frauenwerke pin and it just turned parts of the pin into the beforementioned copper color...
Maybe theese pins were copper and plated silver and the plating has worn off, but I couldn't find any example of the exact DJH pin model I have so It's just a guess.
