Hi guys! bought a lot of buckles but i don't like the catch RLB on the buckle please help!
The seller indicated that the buckle is aluminum. I have not received it yet, I may have met such copies or the originals will be very happy for your help!

I dont like it to be honest, I dont like the catch or prongs and I think the box is rough looking, not one for me
Ben
I agree with every word! Thank you!
Here is one I have.. The prongs do look a little short on yours and the Catch looks thicker. Let's see some better photos when the buckle arrives.
Kirby this is the same buckle!
Do you aluminum? and how long have you had it?
this is probably a copy of 2018 release my opinion!
Wehrmacht-Awards recognized as original !this is not my buckle just similar to mine
DLV / RLB belt buckle for review - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums
Dear colt1911,
There is a thread within this sub forum which is now over 10 years old and which shows some interesting DLV/RLB buckles.
Amongst the buckles shown is an RLB which was accepted as being a fake, although correctly, it is a fantasy. The buckle is die stamped steel which is an oddity in itself, as is the smooth surface to the box, as opposed to being pebbled.
Compared to the one that you have shown, there are obvious differences, however disquieting similarities. Both buckles are die stamped, have the same enlarged "C" catch and have very similar styles of eagles and buckle box ears. For the latter, the lower ear in particular.
It is as though the original die strike tools have been enhanced or modified in order to produce a more convincing buckle. Having said that, there are still the remnants of some tell tale signs.
For myself, I am not particularly bothered about that overweight "C" catch (sometimes seen on DAF-Werkschar buckles) or the pin shroud and claws (for that shown, I doubt if the claws would marry up to the holes in an inner adjustment strap) and instead, it is those ears.
Regards and best wishes,
David
I am not a great specialist and I always consult in this forum I do not have 100% confidence in this buckle! I want to know what the others think!
