I don't know if someone saw this shooting device before. It's made especially for shooting the glass ampoules, which contains the white phosphorus mix inside, the same as inside of Molotov coctail bottles.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
Never even seen one before! Thanks!
Cheers, Ade.

How did it launch something so fragile?
It's a 1942 year made and a bad idea. I heard that they was used in limited quantiuty at the Wolchow front. Each of that kind of throwers must have the pail of solution of the cooper sulphate. Each of the 10 ball was exploded on the barrel, to much casualities, mostly from the shooter side. The range is approx 200-400 meters. Doesen't effect weapon

'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
