Is this buckle a period item? If so can anybody tell the maker? Thank you very much for your time

I think it's period/authentic.....the solder looks kind of new though....very hard to tell you who the maker is though....there were MANY manufacturers that produced SA buckles and most are not marked. Hopefully someone else can help you....
The picture of the front of the buckle does not come up....I had to click on the link just under the reverse pic....strange.

The buckle looks ok but not sure whether it has been resoldered at some point, as to maker no idea

I actually think that the dealer is a good dealer. Do you have any thoughts on the buckle itself People here seem to agree that the buckle is ok. I will stand down from this buckle but not because of the dealer.
