Since you guys have been so helpful with my new ones, figured I'd post an old one from my collection. How's it look? Any guess as to the maker? There's a slight dent in the swastika.

And if you can't live without a variation I happen to have, please get in touch! I'm more of the "collect one of each type" collector than a variation collector, so I'd be happy to do a trade if it means making two collections more complete.

An "interesting" SA buckle to say the least!

Never before have I seen this well documented by design roundel, mounted on this type of brass box. The latter by the very distinct "C" catch and also the pin, the pin shroud and the claw arrangement. As said quite interesting and hopefully, the SA buckle experts will chip in.

the roundel is made by Assmann .

The Box is ?

I have my doubts about togetherness .

The solder points are also in question ...........

Never knowns when it was put together .

I'm not a expert but i hold over 100 SA buckles and none with this design box .

Here to compare a typical Assmann buckle , with such a roundel design :

In my opinion, more than likely a period "hybrid" rather than a post 1945 creation intended to deceive.
