Asso SA Dagger - Some questions...help needed.
Hi, I have been offered this Asso SA. Looks like a nice dagger, The concerns I have are that from the pictures the crossguard looks Nickel and the painted scabbard fittings look plated, Also I am guessing this would be one of the last of the early daggers given it has a plated scabbard?
Any advice welcome.
From the limited photos and upon your description of the scabbard details vs. the dagger details....they are mismatched.
Early Dagger and mid to late period scabbard.
The community here would benefit with a photo of the whole scabbard and not just the corner side.
