    A shame someone polished the the blade to death, so it lost all of it's crossgraining!!

    Wouw looks like a mirror. So sad to see that they ruined a nice early Eick.

    Is this a factory ground Rohm and could the factory have polished it like this?

    It is possible a ground Rohm but the factory regrained the blades this is polishing. All the crossgrain is gone.

    Yes it is a ground Rohm due to the small double oval logo and yes it was sent back to the factory for a re grind and Im very sure it was a perfect factory regrind showing a 2nd generation graining.....then...it went locally to Earl Scheib having ALL the graining removed and further devaluing the dagger.

    Since it is all original early Eickhorn, I would buy it for $300 because it has the early long nosed type snap clip and just to have it as a conversation piece on a coffee table.
