Carl Eickhorn Mint bladed SA dagger
A shame someone polished the the blade to death, so it lost all of it's crossgraining!!
Not mint, just stupidity!
Someone really buffed the hell out of it. Yet the rest of the dagger is typical Eickhorn.

Wouw looks like a mirror. So sad to see that they ruined a nice early Eick.

Is this a factory ground Rohm and could the factory have polished it like this?
It is possible a ground Rohm but the factory regrained the blades this is polishing. All the crossgrain is gone.

Yes it is a ground Rohm due to the small double oval logo and yes it was sent back to the factory for a re grind and Im very sure it was a perfect factory regrind showing a 2nd generation graining.....then...it went locally to Earl Scheibby kirby
having ALL the graining removed and further devaluing the dagger.
Since it is all original early Eickhorn, I would buy it for $300 because it has the early long nosed type snap clip and just to have it as a conversation piece on a coffee table.
