Default Carl Tillmanns Söhne SA dagger with (half erased) inscription

    Hey,

I wonder if you could help me tell if this dagger is real.

One thing I noticed is that one dot in ”ü” looks dark while the other one is weak. But maybe its shadowing?
I also wonder if Tillmanns made daggers with the Röhm inscription? Because in this thread it isnt mentioned: June 30 1934 - Rohm inscription pattern

However, Tillmanns made NS daggers according to another thread.

    Thanks

Hi Jack...have you compared the Rohm name inscription with other examples ?
The forums internal search engine is the best.
I am quite sure you will see the same thing I have observed.

It isnt mentioned in the Rohm dagger thread because there is no documentation that supports Tillman produced these dagger types.
Yours is the first one and surprisingly many cottage producers have surfaced showing the same lack lustre detail in the inscription.

"Ns" Niedersachen is a know SA gruppe for this producer..that much is very true.
There is alot of crap out there trying to become something it never was.
