Thanks for the reply Ralph, I did read the link you posted, and I thought that the gruppe mark for Aesculap was Wm or Sw only. I think the mark in the photo is Nm? Or am I completely wrong.

There remain daggers come forth with another gruppe mark which is not in the list, I also bought daggers with another gruppe mark,s and Larry has added it to the list because it looks Ok with a good fit of all the parts and was not opened. For this one we need good pics from the whole dagger, the fit looks not to bad so it is possible.

I don't think that list is complete or conclusive. It is possible that one of these has not been seen yet. If you post more photos of the dagger, it may become apparent that this is an original. I do like the fit of the guard, blade and handle in the one photo you posted.

In my opinion, it is not the typical Aesculap grip.
Just added a few more photos.
