The guys have correctly informed you of the flaws Doug I just hope you get your cash back.
It will be interesting to see how they react. I hope they don't play the 'it wasn't like that' card like some do -Its all about evidence then.
I wouldn't let a repaint ruin your xmas though, as our treasures get older maybe this is something we need more to except?
