Or do it have mismatch crossguards? Upper looks to be early one, nickel crossguard.

Yes, I do believe them to be mismatched. Possibly thrown together with spare parts.
There is a big gap between the dagger and the scabbard. So, the scabbard has probably been replaced.
All parts are original, but it is parts dagger.

Not necessarily a parts dagger in my opinion.
Anton Winger Jr. was a prolific maker of SA daggers and some bits may have been misplaced or lost behind a work bench and put on a dagger when found. Very little gets thrown out in factories unless it is badly damaged.
This dagger, except for that upper guard, is exactly what you would expect to see on a 1938 dagger.
My experience with SA/SS daggers tells me that parts daggers are usually more obviously mixed parts. Like RZM scabbards on early refurbished daggers, or bad grips from another era.
