RZM SA dagger
I have a SA dagger my father brought back from WW2 in 1945.
It has RZM M7/83 clearly marked I will work on some pictures for you.
What does SA mean?
I also have a small microscope maybe 5 " long in a brown leather case. What would you know about it?

Hi, and welcome to the forum!
You can read all about the SA or Sturmabteilung here:
Sturmabteilung - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The microscope I cannot help on sorry, but someone on the forum might know? Try it in the equipment forum or discussions forum.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: RZM SA dagger
RZM M7/83 was a manuafacure code assigned by by the NSDAP RZM office (quality and control) assigned to makers of SS and SA daggers, mostly from the town of Solingen, including a few from othe towns but mostly Solingen. The M/7 demotes dagger or metal and the number denotes the assineged manufacturer. In this case RZM M/7 83 is from the firm Richard Pluemacher Sohn (son), Solingen. On the McSARR rarity guide it fits in rarity section 9...10 being the most rare. Definately a keeper if it is in good condition. Buddy topcop711@cox.net if you ever want to sale. Good luck
