Hi Jason, welcome to the forum!
The "Wf" on the crossguard stands for SA Gruppe Westfalen . This mark is often found on SA daggers liberated by British servicemen as the region lay on the axis of advance of the British Liberation Army in 1945.
Hi Scott, I too am fond of SA's. Glad you like the dagger.
Cheers, Ade.

Early SA's in that condition are hard to find, a nice one to have in a collection. Thanks for showing. Hal
Thank you for welcoming me to your site. I am not a high dollar collector, but i seem to run across a lot of antique knives and guns .other people call it junk i call them treasures. Thank you again
hi adrian do you know i seem to recognise this dagger
the marks on the top cross guard and handle are very distant in my memory
i sold it to criss farlow at call to arms in uper st islington about 1974
i wonder if it could be the same dagger i was just a kid then about 15
Hi Ian, well the timeline would fit. It would be ironic if it was the same one. Small world eh?
I recall going to Chris' shop back in the late 70's. It was raining and the roof leaked and he had buckets everywhere
Cheers, Ade.
if it is the same one i got it from a friends uncle arry who swore he took it from a german soldier when they were procesing german POW
but he was a real wrongan if you know what i mean i gave him20 bob for it about 1969-70 and chriss farlow gave me a tenner for it i felt rich with a tenner back then
