I have just read that this maker is considered rare, with a 9 out of 10 on the rarity scale as written by McSarr. This maker perhaps only produced around 1000 examples.
Cheers, Ade.

Brilliant news Ade, a real keeper
Hi Ade, I have recently been left an SA Dagger identicle to the one you have here. I am not a collector so I am interested in selling it. Sadly it has no scabard and the blade is not in great condition. Could you please advise me where I would sell such an item and what I should expect as a value.
The dagger has the same Carl Schmidt & Sohn / AG Solingen logo and seems to have the same location stamp as yours. The back of the blade seems to have grind marks and some pitting but the handle is in good condition.
I am located in Brighton E-sussex.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Jon
Hi Jon, welcome to the forum!
You can sell the item for free here on the forum.
I would need to see pics to estimate any possible value. The grinding marks to the back of the blade MIGHT indicate it once had a Rohm dedication, which was order to be removed after Rohm was murdered in the Night of the Long Knives in 1934.
Cheers, Ade.
did Carl Schmidt do Rohm dagger's? i dont think he did he did, can anyone tell me please,
many thanks Ronnie
Hi Ronnie, I was unsure of that point too, hence my asking for photos.
Cheers, Ade.
no kidding you is there Ade
cheers ronnie
Hello guys, I have a SA dagger Carl Schmidt WF. I would like to sell it. How can i upload pictures on here? Thanks
ok i figured it out. heres two pics of my dagger for sale.
Hi Jesse, a good original untouched dagger. Having the hanger with it is a little bonus. The only thing which detracts is the condition of the blade. Don't be tempted to do anything to it.
Cheers, Ade.
