$820 US dollars is alot for a late period SA dagger.
Your fortunate and you escaped with luck as I see no issues with this dagger.
NEVER purchase anything when in doubt. You are a member here since 2018 and you know well enough to post anything on this website that others will help you get the answers you need.
Also there are countless threads here that you will find out why the crossguards seem not to fit.
Try using the search engine.

Hi Larry, thanks a lot for your answer.
Yes, your are right, it was my mistake.
Probably, it´s a little high price for a late dagger, but here in Spain, prices are very expensive for a dagger in good conditions. Next time, I´ll ask firts, to know your opinions.
My doubt came when I dissambled the dagger.
About the price, the real price was 689$, the rest was for shippment and handle fees.
But now, I feel better knowing all is fine.
