    I do not see any wrong on this F. W Höller, except is that blade re-tipped? Or it is just me whos eyes do not work well.

    I hope not. Seems like I can't find an unaltered, textbook original under $1,000 to save my life.

    hi i think the handle has been replaced, also it's not a hundred percent piece. I am sending a link here you can compare:

    Thanks man! I think i'm going to give up on SA daggers honestly. The last 4 I wanted to pick up all had issues even though they're from very good dealers. Seems like a minefield so I think i'll stick to items that are a little more black & white.

    You don't have to be disappointed with your failure. I think it's good to wait for the right dagger, and meanwhile try to study and save money. and also buy from a trusted source, such as Mr. Wittmann

    It can have changed grip sure, but I like the fittings of the cross guards. Now when watch those pics more close, can see that this scabbard do not fit 100%, there is small gap between crossguard.

    Here is one minty F.W Höller what have darger grip too
