i dont have a problem with salty daggers i love them , and i dont see a problem neither with parts daggers but they should be built with the right parts from the right manufacturers and according to the years materials etc. you can see clearly the cross guards dont fit the grip at all , they belong to a low step grip and they look too good for that salty blade.

Larry, don't take offense, but "pay $20 at the most"? Look at completed prices for misc parts on eBay, I'm not going to do the math here, but as long as the parts are genuine, and they appear to be, it's well over $200 in parts.

absolutely true, only selling the grip and the cross guards as parts you will get 200 easy , then you still have blade pommel and scabbard
