    Here's mine, all metal parts match the stock and cleaning rod a mis matched, the hand guard is walnut and matches to the receiver

    If I were you I'd choose the DUV 41 but thats just me. The one with the crest looks like a portuguese M937 K98k. And I'm not sure on the caliber.

    Ask if the shop will allow you to look at the bore, Personal preference for me is the 243 code rifles, But its up to you. prewar rifles are of better quality in my mind.

    Has that stock been sanded? Nice K98k though!
