Pavo if you know Jan Januszek, saber expert on Do Broni why not ask His opinion on the private purchase/Officers saber wz 34 ?

Reading post #13 by Tony, there is an article there and it says that the Smigly Rydz saber is the only CONFIRMED Officers saber. Article is written by Piotr Dabrowski. (not sure who he is).

If so than why the number is in one thousand 7 hundred range ? That would imply that 1700 plus hundred sabers were made for Officers ? How many of these H marked sabers survived ? And why would...

So it looks like every model 34 would have Military Inspector proofs on the blade, before the serial number. I think it is not clear if the "Officers " private purchase were proofed by Military...
