The price quoted to you for the pair is really market value. So no great bargain or anything like that.
The Collectors Guild has a green one for $600: numbered titles are around $800.

The green ones were found in quantity at the end of the war and were never actually worn. As far as I know, these have not been reproduced as yet.. It looks fine to me.
