Did you check if the helmet is converted AT MK 1 to AT MK 2? I have the helmet with identical eagle, but mine is converted. When I remove liner there is still visible from inside welded (?) two holes...

Here's another original template of eagle from Museum of II Polish Corp (Muzeum II Korpusu Polskiego) from Jozefow near Warsaw. Template is from Palestine, dated 1943....
