    That's right I remember the Bedouins in Egypt would cook with old WWII tank mines and then leave the case in the road for the Americans. Imagine our surprise!

    I will say awesome because that amount of explosive left in the ground gives you an idea of the scale and violence of the conflict. Is the high explosive inert?

    The last name was (correction) Szymanski, from Dubno. Came to America in 1910. Other side Strama from Zacopane Tatra Mountains that is the possible Slovak name?

    Is it possible this was a German soldier using Russian equipment since supplies were probably low?
