This is an update on the helmet; I tossed it in the backyard, left it in the rain and sun, you name it I have done it. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy the photos, and like always feedback is welcome....
I just bought a paratrooper helmet, if the price is right ill restore it to any style you want to LOL.

Its done, i buffed the colors with steel wool. I made the wrong decision by wanting something and not following the facts. Lesson learned, and i have to say that decal was solid...... i took me some...
I might remove it, ever since you mentioned it im questioning my decision.
YES SIR!!!! I'm very pleased.
Now Ill try to age it, toss it in the backyard, burn it, sleep in it, leave in the sun.......... Ill try to avoid any fake methods.
