Curiosly I see from the website I linked that he has a 1967 dated 3 rivet Modell 1956 which also has what appears to be two year dates? So the one I isn't unique in this style.

The liner is not as worn as the earlier example, there is scarcely any wear on the chin riemen.

There is a "56" on one of the chinstrap tabs on the liner,matching the size 56 on the lederwerk. More photos to come.

I picked this one up recently, actually cost me nothing, any good? Not something I usually go for but I never turn down freebies.
