Alex, yet another very interesting buckle cool militaria and I agree with you, the box on this one is much older for sure, dont know about the roundel but the box has to be WW1 or earlier!

Rob, it certainly looks Weimar era and Alex, that is an outstanding buckle, first one I have seen marked cool militaria
