Sorry to say but in my opinion, the lid on your messkit is not original WWII, it is a postwar unmarked lid that received bogus markings...
some features say it all....paint is also...

I'm sorry to say but the RZM marking is a bad one.
You never find RZM markings along with usual makers' marks...
You can find RZM markings or the usual two (ex: MN), three (ex: MKK),...
