I was recently able to add to my Cad Pat outfit.
A Gore Tex rain coat and pants set.
These are somewhat difficult to get as technically, they are government property.

I have had these since shortly after they were introduced. I was told that the "X" represents the first 1000 experimental sets.

I have what i believe to be one of the first 1000 experimental sets of CadPat uniforms that were made available to Canadian troops. I have been told that the "X" in the serial number represents this....
