Hi Hal, these are all nice clean examples.
I like the Fireman's bayonet in particular as it is so complete.
Cheers, Ade.
Hi Hal , these look terrific interesting to see on the Pack example that the grip plates are bolted and not riveted as is usual , and also that they are set off centre ! the knot and personalised frog are nice accoutrements on the firemans example , super pieces ,

Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
Very nice bayonets.
Do you have time machine or something Hal. They look like they just came out of the wrapper..
Once again thanks for sharing the pic's
Thanks guys, I've collected these things over the years (60's till...???) and now, thanks to this forum, I can actually show them to someone..... Best, Hal
Those are out of my league but much like you said this forum is a great place to show them, if not for this place I'd never have seen them and i certainly do appreciate seeing them. They are really works of art. Thanks for sharing them.
Mike
Very Nice!
Question... Did Wehrmact and SS soldiers use these dress style bayonets in combat???
The simple answer is No. Of course, one cannot say for sure, it might have happened on a very, very, rare occasion. But why bother? Most men would already have the issue K98 bayonet and to have another bayonet on the belt would be dead weight. These have a blunt edge too.
Cheers, Ade.
