No marks on the pommel end
No marks on the pommel end
I think I’ll cut my losses with this one
Thanks for Your answer, still remains a possibility the VZ.24 were captured in Yugoslavia by germans and joined in war with the reworked scabbard.
It has the ring on guard
We need to see all details of bayonet, mainly the pommel and handle area, normally when Z in circle, it should be already WaA proofed when ordered from Wehrmacht. Similar bayonet could be for export to other country. There is 75 and upside down 4?
I don’t have the bayonet in my possession to get additional pictures. The numbers are 75 upside down 4. I will try and get a picture of another bayonet handle with the same features.
Handle looks identical to this one
That one is a romanian export piece. So only the pictures of real bayonets could help. The bayonet itself is not czech but slovakian as made in second plant of Zbrojovka Brno - Považská Bystrica. The period of production is post 1940 as in different state in independent Slovak State.
Here should You see how it looks when is ordered and proofed by HZA proof A80.
the serialed one piece 248 was reworked by germans post 1942 (sloted grips) and serialed by yugoslavian post 1945.
Thanks
