    Hello Folks -

Anyone recognize this one. It's a combo Fighting Knife / Bayonet. Fully fixable on a Gew. 98 or K98. Blade slightly over 7.5"s. I don't believe it is plated, just highly polished with a sharpened edge. No maker marks. Grips seem to be hardened plastic.

    Thanks!

    - Mike

Oh, by the way..., anyone recognize the 'tank' or 'self propelled gun?' Made of a strange cellulose/plaster like material.

    Hi, Mike !

It seems to be a private purchased WWI trench-knife/dagger-bayonet and it shows the, so called, "carbine-blade".

I assume, the maker could be Pack or Aesculap ?

    Grip-plates made of bakelite ?

    There´re German dress-bayonets made in blade lenght´s of 20cm an 25 cm

    Rgds.,

    Hello,

this is a German extra bayonet with a short "carbine blade". It is an early piece with a steel handle and long lozenges in the handle scales.
The production period is between 1915 and 1934.

    greetings
