I understand. From the factory the bayonets have a small screw (blue color like the scabbard) in the side of the scabbard to hold the metal parts that keep the bayonet from falling out. Some postwar reworked bayonets have instead of a screw - a small aluminum rivet (silver color) that cannot be removed. Best Regards, Fred

A very nice condition one. Looks like "42ddl" on the ricasso, so 1942 made Josiah Corts, one of the smaller producers, has the correct WaA519 marks on pommel. And no alloy rivet in side of scabbard, so not an DDR refurbished one. Worth having if price is right.

No but the bayonet is wrong side added to scabbard, serials on bayonet and scabbard should be above each. b.r.Andy

Matches the scabbard the serialnumber of the bayonet? Hast the scabbard a screw or a rivet?

The frog is a nice original item. Made bei Carl Ackva Bad Kreutnach in 1942. Frog model for the Luftwaffe.
Hello how do you know it was made for Luftwaffe?
