Hello,
is a beautiful original
Regards
Its a LW type frog, nice preserved.
Maybe someone knows where the claim came from that frogs with short stitching are related to the Luftwaffe?
Tousand of frogs of this type were reported with LW units or inventory stamp of LBA,Since 1941 was the LBA not stamped on frogs.
This is not an claim but a fact. You can read it in the "ANZUGORDNUNG FÜR DIE LUFTWAFFE (L.A.O.) L.Dv. 422 Abschnitt A Bestimmungen über Beschaffenheit, Sitz und Trageweise der einzelnen Bekleidungs- und Ausrüstungsstücke" ab 1935 (ORDER FOR THE AIR FORCE (L.A.O.) L.Dv. 422 Section A Provisions regarding the nature, fit and manner of wearing of individual items of clothing and equipment since 1935).
Greetings
Very Nice original! Regards, Peeloo
You should ask SW, as he is the frog expert, but similar things appeared, i dont known about LW marked frogs since 1942 that would have had a LBA stamp.
