Hello! I found this k98 bayonet out for auction on the net with Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler engravings on. I wonder does it exist any bayonets with this engrave and also if their´s any hope for this one?

Unfortunately these bayonets are modern creations where an SS Logo of sorts quite from the LSSAH is added
They have been posted and discussed previously on the forum.

No problems Mike some people even though they know are not real are starting to collect them in their own right as they are an attractive if not origianl piece !!

The bayonet itself was original, but totally ruined by the addition of a bogus etching. A criminal act of greed and stupidity.

i agree with Ade completely, it is real but again it is ruined by the etching just another reproduction company trying to make bigger money using a real bayonet, instead of using a junk china blade. just hope you dident pay top dollar for it. John
