Well,it looks like it`s in a Polish scabbard,and has been lightly sharpened,that would be worth about $75 in my area.....Pete.

Zwerge is correct, the scabbard is Polish, if you look closely around the frog stud area you may find a small makers mark, such as an M inside a triangle. Polish scabbards are fairly valuable by themselves $50-$80. The bayonet is by Herder and both are WWII production, however the grips have most likely been replaced, I think they should be dark brown bakelite.

Representative piece by F Herber 42 couldn't agree more on Polish scabbards being sought after and price wise any of the Polish bayonets have took off in price. timothy
